According to a recent study, the cows tend to align along the axis of the geomagnetic and grazing land. Pavel Nemec and coworkers have analyzed the alignment of 1699 cows and 653 deer using satellite images and aerial taken from Google Earth and found that the proximity (distance of less than 50m) from pylons and low-frequency electromagnetic fields disrupt the alignment.
