dinuovo images from satellite are helping scientists. This time to locate colonies of emperor penguins in Antarctica. Penguins pero' non si vedono bene dalle immagini ma perfortuna durante il periodo degli accoppiamenti le colonie restano nello stesso posto per ciraca otto mesi e per fortuna i nostri cari pennuti non sono stitici! Infatti dai satelliti non si vedranno gli animali ma il guano lascia delle macchie sul ghiaccio facilmente identificabili...anche dallo spazio! GLi scienziati della British Antarctic Survey hanno cosi identificato 38 colonie di pinguini imperatori. 10 di queste colonie non erano state identificate in precedenza. Ora come i ricercatori hanno capito che quella era merda imperiale e non di altre specie di pinguini non era riportato!
